2025 Main Event Case - Hoonify Technologies
The 2025 Global Scaling Challenge Main Event presents Hoonify Technologies Inc., a groundbreaking company revolutionizing access to supercomputing power. Out of the 46 teams that competed in the Regional Qualifiers, 20 have advanced to the Main Event, where they will analyze Hoonify’s business model and develop strategies to help scale its operations.
Founded in 2021 by a team of advanced computing experts, Hoonify Technologies is on a mission to democratize supercomputing. Their flagship product, Turbo OS, enables researchers, scientists, and engineers to harness high-performance computing using the hardware they already own—eliminating the barriers of cost and complexity that have traditionally limited access to supercomputing.
Under the leadership of CEO Andrew Clark, Hoonify is expanding into nuclear energy research, seeking to identify funded organizations that require accelerated computing capabilities. The company is also looking for strategic distribution partners and exploring new industries where their technology can provide a competitive advantage, such as defense, construction, oil, and resource exploration.
Through GSC 2025, the final 20 student teams will tackle the challenge of scaling Hoonify’s impact, identifying potential partnerships, new market opportunities, and innovative strategies to grow its supercomputing platform. 2025 Regional Challenge Case - Nexus Health
The 2025 Global Scaling Challenge Regional Qualifier presents Nexus Health, an innovative New Mexico-based healthcare practice redefining how medical care is delivered. This year, 46 student teams from around the world will analyze Nexus Health's business model and develop strategies to help scale its operations.
Founded in 2022, Nexus Health was created by a group of independent medical providers to offer affordable, high-quality outpatient care. Under the leadership of Dr. Scott Herbert, President of Nexus Health, the organization provides a physician-owned, patient-focused alternative to traditional hospital systems. Their model eliminates excessive facility fees, enhances provider autonomy, and delivers value-based care -- a growing movement aimed at improving health outcomes while reducing costs.
Through GSC 2025, student teams will take on the challenge of expanding Nexus Health's impact, exploring opportunities for growth, payer contracts, and market expansion. This case represents not just a business challenge, but a real-world opportunity to shape the future of scalable, cost-effective healthcare solutions.
